Cookie Policy
This Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them on crowdfundvx.com and how our Google Consent Mode v2 implementation works in 2026.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They allow us to remember preferences, measure site usage and, where appropriate, deliver relevant advertising.
2. Categories we use
(a) Strictly necessary: basic technical support. (b) Analytics: understanding site usage. (c) Advertising & measurement: activating advertising campaigns with Google Ads. (d) Personalization: remembering language and preferences.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Consent Mode v2 with default values set to ‘denied’ for ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage and personalization_storage. Only functionality_storage and security_storage are set to ‘granted’ by default. Values are updated once the user accepts, rejects or saves their preferences in the banner. We also enable ads_data_redaction=true and url_passthrough=true to preserve cookieless ad functionality where consent is not granted.
4. Third-party cookies
We use Google Ads (AW-18064110603) and, where relevant, Google Analytics 4. Google acts as a processor under the Data Processing Agreement published by Google Ireland Ltd.
5. How to manage your preferences
You can change your consent at any time from the ‘Cookie preferences’ link in the footer. If you clear cookies or local storage, the banner will reappear so you can choose again.
6. Duration
The consent record is stored in localStorage under the key ‘cfvx_consent_v1’. Your preference is kept until you clear browser storage or manually revoke consent.
7. Updates
We may update this Policy to reflect technical, regulatory or service changes. Updates take effect when published on this same page.
